First – happy thanksgiving. I hope you are all enjoying some time with people you love and who love you, and gratitude is easily found.
Thank you to those who did odd jobs around the church this week. It’s looking much better and altogether more welcoming.
Our Harvest Thanksgiving services are at 8:30 am and 10 am. Please join us in worship and praise to the one who gave it all. If you can bring a thing or two for the food bank that would be appreciated. Please put it in the basket in the foyer.
This week the Ladies Fellowship Dinner is on Tuesday 11 October at 6 pm in the hall. Sign up is on the board outside the hall. Come and make some new friends.
On Wednesday 13 October we meet at 10 am for Eucharist and Bible Study. Centering Prayer meets at 12:45 pm on Wednesday this week. If the usual time doesn’t work for you – you can come and try it today.
On Thursday 14 October our Craft Group meet at 10:30 am in the hall. The 'Strength for the Journey' Grief Group meets in the library at 1 pm. You can still join in if you wish.
Friday is a rest day before the Fall Clean up day on Saturday 15 October between 10-12 pm. Bring your gloves and trowel and lend a hand. Our garden needs a little extra TLC in spite of the constant hard work of our garden crew.
The weather’s going to be filthy this weekend so we’ll all be forced to sit about in a turkey coma singing our National Song of Thanksgiving (see below).
Another thing to be thankful for.
