mmmm... charitable scones

There’s a-doin’s a-transpirin’ at All Saints this coming week so go and get your diary .. you need to make a note ….

Go on … I’ll wait ….

Ok, so first- don’t forget the Quiet Day on Saturday 13 February starting at 9 am and ending at 12 pm.  Gail Newell is leading us through a very personal reflection on the psalms.  I’ve seen the handouts and trust me, this will be good.

On Sunday 14 February we have our usual worship services at 8:30 am and 10:00 am with worship led by Salal and Cedar.  Again – I’ve seen the stuff they will be doing and it’s lovely.  I can pretty much guarantee it will be something new for you.

Also on Sunday – Do you know what a “cream tea” is?  Well, for those few in the Parish who aren’t English it’s this

Doesn’t that look good?  It is.  It is very, very good.

Even better, you can take one home with you.  For $5 you can take home a cream tea for one with everything (and I mean everything) you need to create this, all nicely wrapped up like this.

It’s very valentinial, the scones are homemade by my own fair hand, and the money will go to Imagine More.  Go on - do it for the good of the Church.

If you think you would like one please let me know so we can get a feel for numbers.  By the way – Sundays in Lent are Feast Days. Just sayin’

Moving on … The Community Meal is on Tuesday 16 February at 6:00 pm.  Come and make new connections and catch up with old friends.

On Wednesday 17 February we have our midweek Eucharist at 10 am followed by Bible Study.

At 5:30 pm the Centering Prayer group meet.

On Thursday 18 February the Parish Health Care Team meet from 9:30 am ish.  If you would like prayer, support or advice please contact them via the office.

The Craft Group meet at 10:30 am.

On Friday 19 February at 7 pm we have Taize again.  Write that in red in your diary.  It’s wonderful.
