The week ahead at All Saints
Good morning friends. It's going to be a good day. I hear last night's soup and teaching time with Archbishop Hambidge was a great success. Bless him! He never fails in his perspicacity does he? We're so lucky to have him as part of our family. And as extra free gift we get Denise too! See? God gives infinitely more than we could ask or imagine. Douglas will be back next week folks, don't feel you can't join in just because you missed the first one. Here's what else is coming up ..
Friday 4 March - don't forget it's the World Day of Prayer with a focus on Cuba. Can you imagine the power of that? The whole world joining together in prayer? The whole Cuba venture will be a massive success, how could it fail? Come to All Saints at 1.30 pm, listen to Dr Andrea Mann and be part of it.
Also that day, Taize (which is going very well by the way). It's sort of like sinking into a hot bath after spending a day out in the elements). It starts at 7 pm.
You'll be here on Sunday of course for the regular 8:30 am and 10 am services. If you have any ideas to help freshen up the Spring Fling please join Pat Sallis in the hall after the 10 am service. Don't panic, you are not promising your time or help - just your ideas and suggestions. What would you like to see at the Spring Fling?
On Tuesday 8 March the Ladies Dinner Group will meet at 6 pm in the hall. Sign up sheet is on the board.
Wednesday 9 March we share Eucharist at 10 am followed by Bible Study.
At 6 pm we meet for soup before enjoying some more teaching from Archbishop Hambidge and a short service of Evening Prayer.
On Thursday the Craft Group meet at 10.30 am ish and then we're back to Friday's Taize! Phew!
