NEWSFLASH! Mondays aren't always horrible!!!

Before I even start I want to remind you about the Prayer Breakfast - Monday 11 April (THIS COMING MONDAY!) at 8 am.  We're hosting, there will be muffins, coffee etc and prayer.  Be there, meet people, pray for our Community (it needs it!) and the world. "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving". (Colossians 4:2)

Oh.  My.  Goodness.    YES.

Oh.  My.  Goodness.    YES.

Today I had the job of creating a poster for the chocolate festival.  This involved looking through hundreds, possibly thousands, of images of chocolates, melting chocolate, flowing chocolate etc etc … you get the idea.  I fought with the strength of 10 – maybe even 20 – very small, weak and undernourished sloths but I’m sure you can imagine what happened later.  And guess what – it was delicious!

I suggest you go and fetch your diary right now.  Find the page for April 24 and write the following

2 pm Chocolate festival ….. wear bib and loose clothing.

Now look at a date next week and write the following: buy tickets for chocolate festival.  $15 for adults, $5 for children.

You can either drop me an e-mail and ask me to save them for you or call in at the office between 9 am and 1 pm to collect some.

Bright ideas to Pat Sallis please

Bright ideas to Pat Sallis please

Ok, now that’s out of the way I have another plea from Pat Sallis – can you make birdhouses?  If so, please get in touch with her or the church office.  She’s planning to sell them at the Spring Fair.  In other Spring Fair related news – can you offer your time, expertise, “attic treasure” type items, other gently used stuff, canned goods, gardening items or baking?  Please contact her ASAP.  If you can offer is ideas she would be delighted to receive those too!  Don't forget to bring in your small canning jars too.

And now  - to business.

This Sunday we meet for Worship at 8:30 am and 10 am.  We lead Prayer and Praise at 2:30 pm at Delta ECU again this week.

The Lift Every Voice concert is on Sunday too.  Ladner Christian Reformed Church at 7 pm – entry by donation.  This event raises funds for the community fund of faith.

Monday 11 April – Delta Prayer Breakfast at 8 am here at All Saints.  Come for breakfast and prayer (you don’t say….)

The Ladies of All Saints meet for potluck supper on Tuesday 12 April at 6 pm.

On Wednesday we have the usual Eucharist at 10 am followed by Bible Study with Dudley Ritchie.

That’s it for next week.

Enjoy lots of sunshine….  I will!

This is called a "Sunshine".  Cheers!
