A Messy End to the Week

Elizabeth, Jennifer and I are preparing for Messy Church on Saturday and let me tell you the gloves are off!  I man that quite literally.  The furnaces are up and running, it's gloriously warm and toasty and I can type without gloves on!  Woot!  We can lift our hands in praise without immediately returning to a huddled state in an attempt to stop any air from touching our skin.  Thank you God for the marvels of your universe and for letting our (pilot) light shine!

Don't forget to bring a small friend (preferably wearing their halloween outfit) to Messy Church this Saturday at 4 pm.  We welcome Guide-Dog to be Pebbles with her trainer, Susie so we can learn about some of the ways animals work with us to enrich our lives on earth.  Dinner will be "Monster Mash".  If your wondering what that is - join the club.  But knowing Pat Sallis is in charge of making it suggests it will be delicious.

On Sunday we meet at 8:30 am and 10:00 am for Worship and then gather together in the Parish Hall to 1)bask in the warmth of the new furnace AND one another's company and 2) for a Special Vestry Meeting.  We will be making a decision on where to go next with Imagine More ...  Please plan to attend, your voice needs to be heard.

Next week (NOVEMBER ALREADY?!) the OASIS Wednesday Bible Study is at 10 am.  It seems there's someone new in the group every week.  Come and see for yourself!  The Centering Prayer group meets at 5:30 pm.

On Thursday 2 November at 9:15 am ish the Parish Health Care Team meet.  Please contact Liz Macdonald or Sue Paege if you have any prayer requests or would like to be part of this Ministry.

That's all for now folks.  And frankly, I feel it's enough to be going on with.

Happy Friday!
