The First Week of Lent

Hmmm... a bore but not boring ...

Hmmm... a bore but not boring ...

So what's your plan for Lent?  If you're thinking you'd like something to focus on during Lent, Elizabeth has a suggestion for you - but you have to come to Church on Sunday to find out what it is.  I'll give you a clue though "it's a big bore, but not boring".  Answers on a postcard please.

This Sunday we take a look at our Budget for 2018.  If you want to know where your gifts go, please stay after the 10 am service on Sunday and find out.  This is the time to find out what we'll be voting to accept next week at our Vestry Meeting so it's worth spending a little time to understand.

On Tuesday 20 February at 6 pm we host our free, monthly Community Meal.  Please support it if you can either by eating and chatting and being a welcoming presence or in more practical ways with set up/clean up and serving.  It's an enjoyable way to minister to the community.

On Wednesday 21 February at 10 am we meet for the OASIS Eucharist and Bible Study.  Or if you're more interested in quiet contemplation you could come at 5.30 pm for Centering Prayer.

The Craft Group meets on Thursday at 10.30 am.

 Messy kid = happy kid

Messy kid = happy kid

On Saturday 24 February at 4 pm it's Messy Church time again.  Bring someone small and enjoy some messy crafts, songs and food.  Then skip merrily off and leave the mess behind.

Don't forget to allow some extra time next Sunday - 25th February - to attend the Annual Vestry Meeting.  We will review 2017 and look forward to the coming year together.  We will again be returning to the question of "What Does God want All Saints to be and to do?" and obviously you're insights are needed.
