A Seedy Start to March

Tomorrow (Saturday 3 March) we host the Ladner Garden Club's "Seedy Saturday" from 9 am to 4 pm.  This is a very popular event and it's wonderful to be able to share our building with the community in this way.  Who knows what this may grow into - it could become a perennial pro'seed'ing (see what I did there?).

 Let's aim for this!

Let's aim for this!

Sunday Services are at 8:30 am and 10 am as usual.   When you come in this Sunday could you bring a gently used winter coat?  As some of you know we are collecting warm coats for the Mission to Seafarer's.  The coats will be distributed to Seafarer's who are often poorly prepared for the cold weather, so please take a quick look through your closet and see if there's anything you can donate.  There's a box in the foyer - we'd like to overfill it!

On Tuesday 6 March the Men's Fellowship meet at 6 pm in the Parish Hall for food and fellowship.  They would love to see you there!  Sign up on the Welcome Board.

On Thursday 8 March Douglas leads the second session of "Following with the Disciples" - last night 38 people attended so you know it must have been good!  Supper is at 6 pm, Evensong and teaching at 7 pm.

Awww.  Don't you just love them?

A note for your diary - come to church on Sunday 11 March and stay for a PWRDF fundraising luncheon.  Not only do you get to enjoy lunch with your Church family, you also get to hear Douglas and Denise Hambidge give a presentation about their time in Tanzania.  Make sure you don't miss out!

Perhaps I'll see you at some seedy joint on Saturday?  Happy Friday!
