May at All Saints

This Sunday 6 May marks the start of our series entitled "What Would John Have To Say About That?"  Mary Catherine and Bob Fortuna who will be facilitating these hour long sessions after the 10:00 am Service (at around 11 am).  Please join them in the Narthex after your coffee.

Also this Sunday - it's our turn to lead the Prayer and Praise Service at Mountain View Manor.  Join us there at 2:30 pm if you can.

On Tuesday 8 May our Ladies Dinner Group meets at 6 pm in the hall - sign up on the Welcome Board.  They would love to see you there.

OASIS Eucharist and Bible Study Group meets at 10 am on Wednesday 9 May with the Centering Prayer group meeting at 5:30 pm.

On Thursday the Craft Ladies will be working on their various projects from around 10:30 am in the hall.

And on Saturday - it's the Spring Fling from 9:30 - 2 pm!  Come and buy your hanging baskets and bedding plants, have some refreshments and pick up some books to enjoy over the summer - if you want plants for Mother's Day - this is the place to send your kids (or just buy them yourself and get them to do the planting - that's always a good ploy).

A date for your diary - on Thursday 17 May from 2 - 4 pm we will be hosting an afternoon tea with some lighthearted singing included.  We would like to invite Seniors, Caregivers, Family and Friends so I hope you will plan to be there and bring some guests too.  It should be a happy afternoon.  If you can supply some goodies for the tea, or if you are able to help with serving on the day (or both) please get in touch with Liz Macdonald or any member of the Parish Health Care Team.

And one more thing - a big fat WELL DONE!  We are now winding up Lenten Water Project which so many of you have contributed to - an unbelievable $4038.25 has been given so far which is enough to create two bore holes and supply fresh water that is so desperately needed.  There's still time to give if you wish - but make it quick!
