Summer Slowdown - further evidence
As summer continues we will slow our speed still further until we reach "child getting ready for school" level, which as we all know, is something which cannot be differentiated from inertia. (For those of you interested - I just called my husband and asked "what is the opposite of terminal velocity? I mean - the absolute slowest thing ever?" He responded with a heavy sigh and the word "still". I have to admit I do feel very slightly foolish).
So this week looks like this - Wednesday 4 July - 10:00 am Eucharist with OASIS Bible Study.
On Thursday 5 July at 9:15 am the Parish Health Care Team meet, as do the Craft Group at 10:30 am.
Later on Thursday, at 2:00 pm there will be a Memorial for Glen Ross Kyle, brother of Carleen Gordon, with a reception in the hall to follow.
And finally, on Friday 6 July there will be a DCMS Recital in the Church from 6 - 9 pm.
In other news - Friday is my last day before vacation and I won't be back until 14th August 2018. If there is anything you would like me to take care of before I go you need to get in touch VERY soon. The fabulous Rani will be in the office while I'm away. No doubt the work will be done with all the charm and efficiency that is usually lacking. Thank you Rani!
Happy Friday - enjoy the rain - it smells good!
