The Week Ahead at All Saints

Honestly, I can't turn my back for a minute without you all organising things all over the place!  I think I'm going to have to create an entirely new format for the All Saints Calendar just to fit everything in!  So, I suggest you fetch your diary right now - you're going to need to take notes.

This Sunday - 19 August at 9:30 am we get to coo over the smallest Saucier at her baptism.  She's an exceptionally beautiful child - what my mum would call a "knitting pattern baby".  Be sure to come and support this minute addition to your church family.

After the service there will be a Poinsettia Bazaar Planning Meeting in the library.  All are welcome - bring your ideas and suggestions!  Also - please note and be impressed that anyone is even thinking about Christmas related things yet.   Personally I treat Christmas like the Sun and never look directly at it so I am in awe of those who are planning ahead like this.

"You look nice!"     "Aww .. shucks" I apologise for that corny joke. And that one.

On Tuesday 21 August and 6 pm we have our monthly Community Meal.  This month we are serving delicious local corn.  We need your help though - the corn needs to be shucked  so ... if you could come along for 3 pm and lend a hand (or two) that would be much appreciated.  Obviously you can then hang about and enjoy the vegetables of your labour (I know that sounds odd but corn is not a fruit).

On Wednesday we meet at 10 am for the Eucharist and Bible Study.  Come along .. we have cookies.

See you there!
