Aaaaaaand We're Off.....!
Here we are, January 2019. Only another six months until I start writing the correct year on my cheques! The year is only four days old and I think I’ve made enough mistakes to see me through the rest of the year, including such highlights as flooding the All Saints kitchen, thinking my truck had been stolen only to find I had merely forgotten where I parked it, and going to the wrong restaurant and waiting ages for my friend to turn up. On the plus side - the year can only get better.
This Sunday at 8:30 am and 10:00 am we celebrate Epiphany. At 2:30 pm we join in a service of Prayer and Praise at Mountainview Manor. Please join in if you possibly can, this is one of our longest running outreach ministries and always, we need support.
On Tuesday 8 January at 6:00 pm the Ladies of the Parish meet in the hall for dinner. Please sign up on the board if possible. Although they will be pleased to welcome you whether you’re on the list or not.
On Wednesday at 10:00 am we meet to celebrate the Eucharist, followed by an in depth Bible Study led by The Reverend Dudley Ritchie. Later in the day the Centering Prayer group meets at 5:30 pm in the Narthex.
A few items that need your attention - the flower dedications for 2019 are looking a bit sparse so if you wish to sign up for that please do as soon as you can.
Coffee time after the 10 am service needs your support. Can you get a friend or two to join you in supplying refreshments for our fellowship time? If so, please sign up!
Thank you, and I wish you all a VERY happy New Year. I’m excited to see developments at All Saints this year, it’s going to be a busy one!
