The week ahead is so varied I couldn’t come up with a clever title to pull it all together so ‘Allsorts’ will have to do. And as with the sweet licorice treat there is a strong central core surrounded by various degrees of more obviously enjoyable padding.

Tomorrow (Saturday 2 March) is Seedy Saturday at All Saints, starting at 10 am. Our local Ladner Community Garden hosts their annual day of seed swapping, information sharing and general hubbubery. This event always brings a lot of local residents into the building and we are blessed to be able to share our home in this way.

On Sunday we meet at 8:30 am and 10 am for our usual Sunday worship services.

On Tuesday 5 March at 5 pm we take the taste train to Pancake City. The Men’s Fellowship are hosting the annual Pancake Supper for Shrove Tuesday. Apparently it’s an “all you can eat’ event so I suggest you get there early as both myself and my son LOVE pancakes and will be in attendance! There’s only one thing better than pancakes in my opinion - and that’s pancakes that have been prepared by someone else!

Wednesday 6 March is Ash Wednesday. We have our Ash Wednesday Service at 10 am and again at 7 pm. What’s Ash Wednesday all about? Well - click here to find out.

On Thursday 7 March at 9:15 am the Parish Health Care Team meet. The Craft Group ladies gather at 10:30 am in the hall.

See what I mean? All sorts!

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sun - it’s beginning to feel like spring is within reach and Thank God for that!
