Pentecost and the Week Ahead

This Sunday is the Sunday of Pentecost - you might want to wear red somewhere about your person. The red is to symbolize the tongues of fire which descended on the disciples from the Holy Spirit. The day marks the start of the mission of the church which is an interesting thing to ponder, especially for us as we prepare to turn to a fresh page in our own story.

The week ahead looks like this:

  • Tuesday 11 June at 6 pm The Ladies Dinner Group meets in the Parish Hall

  • Wednesday 12 June at 10 am Eucharist and OASIS Bible Study group in the Narthex.

  • PLEASE NOTE - Centering Prayer is now on hiatus for the summer and will return in September.

  • Thursday 13 June at 10 am ish the Craft Group meets in the hall

  • Saturday 15 June at 5:00 pm All Saints Annual Summer Barbecue in the hall

Unattractive but practical - that’s the look I’m going for
