News from All Saints
Friday already? And what a beautifully autumnal Friday it is too. I hope you all get a chance to get out into the sun and breathe some of the lovely cool air - it smells deliciously apple-y with a hint of the sea and a blackberryish tinge. It’s quite delightfully refreshing.
I’m sure you are all well aware by now that MESSY CHURCH makes it’s return on Saturday 28 September at 4 pm. Bring a small friend and come join us for music, crafts, teaching and supper. We would love to see you there!
This coming Sunday is the feast of St Michael and All Angels which we celebrate at 8:30 am and 10 am with the Eucharist.
On Tuesday 1 October at 9:30 am the Sisterhood of the Pie (there are 3.14 of them) are working together in the kitchen, preparing pies to sell at our Bazaar in November. Would you like to help out? If so please talk to Pat Sallis.
Later on Tuesday the Men’s Fellowship will meet for their own feast in the hall at 6 pm. Sign up on the board (or turn up anyway - you won’t be turned away).
Our Wednesday at 10 am Eucharist and Bible Study will be in the Narthex followed later at 5:30 pm by the Centering Prayer Group.
On Thursday 3 October the Parish Health Care Team meets at 9:30 am. They’ve been on hiatus since July so I’m sure there will be plenty of updates for them. If you have a prayer request or update please let them know.
One more thing - we will celebrate The Blessing of the Animals on Sunday 6 October at 2 pm here in All Saints. I hope to see a few of you there as we gather with our pets to celebrate their companionship and love that enriches our lives so much.
Enjoy your weekend. And I wish you all a Happy October!
