The Week Ahead

I invite you to meet our new Office Assistant. As you can see, she is not only beautiful but also very well groomed and a welcoming presence to all who cross the threshold. She will be coming in on Fridays and will assist me with administrative matters - if you have any work you would like to get done in a hurry - I suggest you bring it to her. She is an excellent listener.

This Sunday 8 September we are back to TWO SERVICES! We are blessed once more to have the Reverend Elizabeth Ruder Celiz presiding this Sunday both at 8:30 am and at 10:00 am.

On Tuesday 10 September the Ladies Dinner Group will meet at 6 pm in the parish hall for dinner and fellowship. Please sign up on the board if you plan on attending - or just turn up anyway, you will be welcomed I’m sure.

On Wednesday we meet at 10 am for our midweek Eucharist and Bible Study. The Centering Prayer Group is also back in session. Come and join them at 5:30 pm in the Narthex (don’t accidentally wander into the hall - the Youth Theatre kids will be in there and you might find yourself being aggressively sung at to “Let It Go”).

On Thursday the Craft Group will meet in the hall at around 10 am to create whatsits and thingamabobs galore. You would be most welcome to join them.

Try not to be too disappointed if you come into the office and find just plain old me sitting here - the new office assistant has an awful lot of things which keep her very busy most days. Oh, and here’s a photo just in case you don’t believe me.

LouLou is ready to assist you. Treats for services are acceptable (on and the dog likes treats too).
