Summer At Last

Finally! Summer is here. It’s actually hot at last and everyone (except me) seems to be pretty happy to get their out their shorts and sandals and go about looking relaxed and summery. I won’t be joining them - my own legs are so white that they tend to deflect almost all heat from the sun and we may enter a nuclear winter if I expose them. Don’t worry - the appropriate precautions will be taken.

This Sunday we meet at 8.30 am and 10 am. NEXT week we will be on to our Summer schedule with only one service on Sundays at 9.30am.

On Thursday 30 June at 1 pm we will be meeting for Jack Pearson’s memorial. I hope you can be there to support the family and to thank God for all that Jack brought to the world.

Next Friday 1 July is of course, Canada Day. The office will be closed.

Please note that Robin will be away until 22 July 2022.

The Men’s Fellowship are organising the All Saints Barbecue on Saturday 23 July from 4 pm. They will supply the steaks so all you need is your preferred beverage and a side to share. If you plan on attending please either contact the office or put your name on the sign up sheet on the Welcome board. You are welcome to bring a guest if you wish.
