Times Are Changing

I don’t know what’s going on with the work in the parking lot today but the building is vibrating. It’s a very peculiar feeling and I don’t recommend it at all. I may have to go get a mouthguard to stop my teeth chattering. Luckily they will not be working over the weekend so all should be peaceful for our services.

Please remember to put your clocks back this Sunday AND don’t forget our Sunday Eucharist is now at 10am.

The memorial service for the lovely Joyce Blaber is at 2 pm tomorrow - Saturday 4th November.

I hope you can join us tomorrow to celebrate Joyce’s life. She was a kind and generous lady, always ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work. Her life and all that she was is richly deserving of celebration.

The service for our beloved friend Prad Bose is at 1 pm on Saturday 11 November

There have been too many goodbyes lately, it’s been a hard couple of months for us all. We’ve been so blessed to have these dear people as part of our church family and we’re grateful to have had the chance to know them. As Reverend Liz so eloquently said “grief is another word for love” which is just a lovely phrase and very comforting when we feel such sadness. We do not stop loving them because they are gone, we just tend to call that love by another name.
