What’s Happening at All Saints

Thank you all so much for your generosity in giving to the South Delta Food Bank last Sunday. We were able to give them $370 in cash, cheques and gift cards and also plenty of food items to stock their shelves. Thank you!

This Sunday we gather at 8.30 am and 10 am for Eucharist. There will be a brief meeting for anyone involved (or willing to be involved) in the Bazaar after the 10 am service. Please come along if at all possible.

While we’re on the subject of the Bazaar - it’s time to start gathering some goodies again. We will be having the bottle draw once more this year, so any (full) bottles you can donate would be gratefully received. It can be anything from Advocaat to apple juice , wine to washing up liquid. If it’s in a bottle - we’ll take it.

Also - small gifts for ‘Santa’s Sack’. A few ideas - mugs, chocolates, pads and pens, Christmas decor, hair ties, socks .. you name it! The gifts shouldn’t cost more than $5 ideally and should be unwrapped.

You can start dropping stuff off on Sunday - boxes for donations will be in the foyer

The Men’s Fellowship group meet on Tuesday 18 October at 6 pm. Join them for dinner if you can. They’ll be pleased to welcome you.

One other plea for help - we are looking for someone to deliver posters to a few places in Ladner and Tsawwassen once a month. If you could help with that please contact Flower in the office.

That’s really all I have for you today. I hope you can get outside and enjoy some of this wonderful sunshine we still have. Surely it can’t go on much longer can it?! Liz M is currently making use of the nice dry day by working in the garden - which is looking wonderful, and playing around with the leaf blower. She says she clearing the paths but I think she’s just haranguing the squirrels…

See? She’s ruined his hairstyle!
