What’s Happening at All Saints
First - A message from Liz Macdonald
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Bazaar another successful and happy occasion. We welcomed our guests with smiles, and our usual array of poinsettia plants, tempting baked goods, crafts, “Santa’s” gifts, and our popular bottle draw and refreshments, among other things.
From putting up signs, decorating the hall, wrapping gifts, contacting local merchants, serving refreshments, collecting plants, home baking and selling the items - all efforts are so appreciated!
It takes willingness, generosity of time, and enthusiasm to make this happen, and again, we did it!
With gratitude, Liz
Mission to Seafarers at Roberts Bank in Delta has an on dock commissary for staff from Visiting ships to have a shore break, a coffee and perhaps phone home. The Anglican Church (and others) run this shop and have many requests for warm toques, socks, and used reading material such as National Geographic. If you wish to donate any of these items - a box will be in the Narthex for the next two Sundays. Small packets of cookies are also appreciated! If you need pick-up of any of these items, phone Ellen on 604 946 2369
All Saints Ladies Group will meet in the hall on Friday, 15 December at 10.30am for a pre-Christmas get together. Bring a friend and we’ll see you there!
