Make a Joyful Noise

This is going to be an amazing event! This coming Saturday evening, May 7, 7-8pm a select group of teachers and their students will be performing a piano concert. Our organ is in much need of repairs and therefore all of the funds raised will be used to finance the repairs and support the music ministry of All Saints. I look forward to seeing you there!

Delight in Sabbath

Day 2 of 3 in the Delight in Sabbath series is this coming Saturday May 7, 10am-2pm. We will be focusing on Time & Space and how these concepts influence our Sabbath practices both as individuals and as a parish community. If you missed the first session, no worries you are more than welcome to join us this Saturday or May 14 for the final day in the series.

Plant Sale

Saturday, May 7 from 11am to 3pm is our annual Spring hanging basket and plant sale. Contact the parish office to order yours!

Men’s Fellowship

The Men’s Fellowship group is meeting on Tuesday 10 May at 6 pm. This month they will be ordering take out and eating together in the Parish Hall. Give Cliff a call on 604 946 0464 for more info or sign up at church on Sunday.

Live Stream Technician

It is with mixed feelings that we say “goodbye” to Cam who has been our Live Stream Technician for the past 2 years. Cam has been instrumental in developing and trouble shooting our live stream ministry and he will be greatly missed. At the end of the month Cam will be traveling to England and Europe to do some pack backing as he begins a new chapter in his life. Please join me in wishing him well.

We have been following up on a couple of leads of who can take on this role. Our live streaming ministry is valuable connection with the parish and community by many of us who cannot join us in-person for one reason or another. Thus we are hoping to continue this ministry provided we can find a suitable replacement. If you or someone you know is interested in this role, please connect directly with Robin+ or Flower.

New Book Study

Ladner United Church invite us to join them for a book study. Here is a message from Reverend Lydia, the Minister at LUC.

We'll be reading "Wholehearted Faith" by Rachel Held Evans (with Jeff Chu). This book was published after Rachel's unexpected death in 2019 with the help of Jeff Chu, a dear family friend. "Through theological reflection and personal recollection, Rachel wrestles with God’s grace and love in an imperfect world, looks unsparingly at what the Church is and does, and explores universal human questions about becoming and belonging."

This book study will meet for one hour for 4 weeks, starting the week of May 23rd and ending the week of June 20th (no book study the week of June 6th). If you're interested in joining, please email Rev. Lydia at minister@ladnerunited.org with your preference for day (Tues or Wed) and time of the week.
