Coming Up at All Saints

It’s a gloomy kind of day but pleasantly cool. I say “pleasantly” because I can see Ellen and Liz working away in the garden and Cliff working away at painting the fence in the memorial garden. Everything looks amazing! Thank God for these volunteers who give up their time to make our little corner of Ladner so well cared for. If you would like to lend a hand please let us know - there’s always something to do!

Don’t forget this Sunday we begin our summer schedule so we have one service at 9.30 am. However this week we have a meeting after the service to hear about developments or options regarding our property, including the former Rectory. It should be an interesting session and we hope you can attend and share your thoughts.

On Tuesday 20 June at 6 pm we have our monthly free Community Meal. On the menu this month are burgers (beef, chicken or veggie) with sides followed by delicious dessert. Please plan to attend if at all possible. We would love to see you there.

On Wednesday at 10 am we meet for our midweek Eucharist followed by the Bible Study. The Wednesday group continues to grow and it’s becoming increasingly lively and, apparently, hilarious.

One last reminder - the parish BBQ is planned for 8 July, 4pm - 7.30pm. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can be sure we have a steak with your name on it! Sign up at the church or contact the office.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy being able to do things without melting in the heat.
