The End of an Era

As most of you know, Frank Sallis died in hospice last week and this week, as was her wont, Pat has followed him. They were such a team in life, I suppose it’s not so surprising that they should remain so in death. But it is still a shock. It’s very difficult to imagine All Saints without Pat - almost as hard as it was to imagine Pat without Frank. Of course our thoughts are with the family who are faced with such huge loss. We were so blessed to have them as part of our community and we have much to thank them for. The words “good and faithful servant” spring to mind.

Details about funerals will follow as soon as possible but for now I know you will join me in praying for the family and friends who will miss them so much.
